Children of Vietnam – Part 2 – Hoi An Pre-School

Pre-School

One of my favourite parts of my trip to Vietnam was Hoi An.  We took a bike ride through some of the town and back areas.  It was beautiful and a definite highlight, even for someone who isn’t a riding fan.  One of the places we visited  was a small pre-school.

Our guide (we called him TV) told us that the kids used to be very shy around Westerners but now they came running up to say a cheery Hello!  They enjoyed practicing their English on us and we practiced our (very poor) Vietnamese. They thought that was hilarious.

You can see why I couldn’t help taking photos of them.

This little lady was unconvinced by us however.

We were even given an impromptu dance routine by one of the little boys.  He was just gorgeous.

We were sad to say goodbye.  Miss Pigtails remained unconvinced by us.
